What’s in the Business Level Service Package?
Here at PorterTech, we aim to be as clear on everything as possible. With that, here’s a description of what you get when you sign up for our Business service;
How do we do it?
Once you’ve subscribed, we give you a link to go download our small program (provided by Syncro). Once downloaded, we have a few scripts (as seen in the Basic and Premium plans) that will run on your computer to gather some initial information about your computer. Note that we only gather information about your computer, not you.
These scripts help keep your computer healthy. Many people don’t realize that leaving a computer on its own can harm its performance over time. What do these scripts do? We run them weekly on Sundays at 2 AM, a time when most people are not using their computers, minimizing interference.
Automated Support
As mentioned in the Basic and Premium plans, we use the Operating System Tools that are typically included in an install. These Tools allow us to watch for any issues that might be brewing inside of your computer. In addition to this, we also have a few pieces of automation that will be able to take advantage of and suggest improvements to your system!
Office 365 Management
Microsoft’s Office 365 suite has become a standard in most modern businesses. But if you are anything like most people, you are likely only using a fraction of what the program is capable of!
We’ll manage your Office 365 account, giving you a single point of contact for all of your needs. We can provide assistance with:
- Implementing proper security policies across the Microsoft 365 suite
- Setting up new email accounts
- Managing user permissions
- Configuring share drives in OneDrive
- Creating user groups and implementing proper permissions policies
- Creating shared calendars and resource scheduling
Cloud Backup
The most important thing to any business is the data that it produces! We’ll make sure that no data is ever lost by creating an off-site backup for all of your critical files and folders.
We’ll use a system that stores these files in separate locations, ensuring that you never experience a loss of data.
Should you require a data recovery, we can easily retrieve all of the necessary files for you!
Disaster Recovery
In the unfortunate event of a complete system failure, we’ll implement a disaster recovery plan and have you back up and running in record time. We’ll proactively implement a solution that will have your data easily recoverable. Should something go wrong, we’ll spring into action to make the impact as minimal as possible.
