What’s in your Premium Service?
Here at PorterTech, we aim to be as clear on everything as possible. With that, here’s a description of what you get when you sign up for our Premium service;
How do we do it?
Once you’ve subscribed, we give you a link to go download our small program (provided by Syncro). Once downloaded, we have a few scripts (as seen in the Basic plan) that will run on your computer to gather some initial information about your computer. Note that we only gather information about your computer, not you.
These scripts help keep your computer healthy. Many people don’t realize that leaving a computer on its own can harm its performance over time. What do these scripts do? We run them weekly on Sundays at 2 AM, a time when most people are not using their computers, minimizing interference.
Automated Support
In the Basic plan, we use the Operating System Tools that are typically included in an install. These Tools allow us to watch for any issues that might be brewing inside of your computer. In addition to this, we also have a few pieces of automation that will be able to take advantage of and suggest improvements to your system!
Advanced Antivirus & Threat Detection
We’ve partnered up with BitDefender to provide a powerful Enterprise Level Managed Antivirus at an extremely affordable price. To get the same level of protection for yourself and buy BitDefender, you would need to spend nearly $48 per month! We are able to include this service and wrap it into the total cost of the subscription. As part of a deal that we have with Syncro, we’re able to provide the Enterprise Level Endpoint Security for you for only $0.80 a month! We’ve wrapped that cost into the price of the subscription for you, so you’re getting an even better deal with Premium!
On-Site Support
Should it be necessary for us to come out and fix something, you’ll get a free hour of On-Site Support per month! Usually valued at $50/hr, we’ve bundled it into this plan at a significant discount!
Special Note
Please note that this plan is only available for residential type computers. Laptops and Desktops that are not used for a business purpose are eligible for this subscription service.
